Directions: From the ferry terminal, take Highway
305 north to the fourth stoplight. Turn left on Day Road, stay to the right as
Miller Rd veers off to the left. deCODE's facilities are located in the
Bainbridge Business Park, on the left hand side of Day Road, about 50 yards past
the Miller Rd veer. We're in the upper level of Building A.
When
arriving from Sea-Tac Airport:
From the airport, follow the signs TO FREEWAYS. This puts you on northbound
HWY 99.
Follow the signs to Seattle, and exit right onto HWY 518.
After about 1 mile on HWY 518, exit left onto northbound I-5 to Seattle.
After about 10 miles, you'll see signs for the ferry terminal, Exit 164.
There are two Exit 164s. Take the second Exit 164, marked 4th Ave. S.
Turn right at the bottom of the exit ramp onto 4th Ave. S.
Turn right at the first traffic light, about 50 yards, onto Royal Brougham.
There will be a sign for the ferries.
Proceed all the way to the end of Royal Brougham, about 100 yards.
Turn right on Alaskan Way.
Stay in the left lane on Alaskan Way.
After about four blocks, follow the cement bulkhead left into the ferry
terminal.
Tell the toll booth operator that you're going to Bainbridge Island. Drive
onto the ferry. The ferry crossing is 35 minutes. (The ferry schedule between
Seattle and Bainbridge Island can be found above).
When arriving
from Vancouver, BC:
Take I-5 south to Exit 164.
About 200 yards after the exit, take the 4th Ave. S exit.
Resume from Step 6 above (Directions from Sea-Tac airport).
